Each week, many people still gather together in churches beneath the picture of Our Mother of Perpetual Help to honor Mary with their prayers and songs. Still many others privately call upon her in their time of need.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis documentary has been produced in keeping with the wish of the Church that the Redemptorists spread devotion to Mary as Our Mother of Perpetual Help. A portion of the documentary is devoted to an explanation of the icon, noting the figures, the symbols, the style of art, the message, and the story of the picture. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis documentary brings the viewer to a deeper devotion to Mary, the Mother of the Church and Our Mother of Perpetual Help through first person accounts of favors granted through her intercession–safekeeping during an airport tragedy, healing from disease, the saving of the church community, and comfort at the hour of death.
